Description: | Basidiocarp annual, pileate, applanate to slightly convex, braoadly attached to semicircular and dimidiate, single, ≦ 8.5 cm broad and ≦ 11 cm wide, ≦ 3.5 cm thick, soft and fleshy when fresh, hard and brittle when dry; upper surface azonate, tomentose, cream, cream-buff, clay to tawny-olive pore surface cream to cream-buff. Pores angular to circular, 1-2 mm-1, entire. Hyphal system dimitic, generative hyphae ≦ 6 μm diam., with clamp connections, hyaline, thin- to thick-walled, skeletal hyphae, thick-walled, hyaline to pale yellow, ≦ 6 μm diam.
