 Description: Basidiocarp effuse, ±adnate, subceraceous-membranaceous, 150-650 µm thick in section. Hymenial surface Warm Buff or Light Buff, slightly greenish yellow in KOH, smooth, rarely cracked; margin Ivory Yellow, rather determinate, sometimes slightly byssoid. Hyphal system monomitic, hyphae simple-septate. Subiculum uniform, composed of rather loose to ± dense medullary layer, hyphae vertical or horizontal, rather densely interwoven, colorless, rather distinct, 1.7-3 µm diam., thin-walled, occasionally collapsed, usually covered with thin or thick layer of yellowish granular material. Hymenial layer with dense texture; hy-phae narrower than those of subiculum. Cystidia lacking. Basidia narrowly clavate, with elongated and narrow bases, 25-40 × 4.3-5.3 µm, 4-sterigmate. Basidiospores cylindrical, smooth, thin-walled, with homogeneous contents, (5.5-) 6-7.5 (-8) × 2.3-2.8 µm, IKI-, CB-.

 Note: The narrow, thin-walled and interwoven subicular hyphae make this species some-what alien in the genus Phanerochaete, but no other more suitable genus could be found.
