Description: Basidiocarp effuse, adnate, membranaceous-crustaceous, 70-200 μm thick in section. Hymenial surface Pinkish Buff or Deep Olive-Buff, grandinioid, not cracked; margin con-colorous or paler, rather determinate or thinning, pruinose. Aculei separate or fused, more than 10 per mm, conical, sometimes indistinct, apically fimbriate due to projecting hyphae. Hyphal system monomitic; hyphae simple-septate. Subiculum indistinctly bi-layered. Basal layer with rather compact texture, up to ca. 15 μm thick, sometimes indistinct; hyphae horizontal, colorless or subcolorless, ± agglutinated. Medullary layer constituting main part of subiculum, with ± dense texture; hyphae ± vertical, colorless or subcolorless, usually indistinct, ± agglutinated, 1.7-4 μm diam., thin- or slightly thick-walled. Hymenial layer with dense texture. Yellow-brown excreted material rather common throughout subiculum, easily dissolved in KOH. Cystidia lacking. Encrusted hyphae located in aculei (trama), crowded or single, projecting, thin- or slightly thick-walled. crystals not easily dissolved in KOH. Basidia subutriform, basally stalked, usually guttulate, 20-30 × 6-7 μm, 4-sterigmate. Basidiospores colorless or yellowish, ellipsoid or broadly ellipsoid, adaxially flattened or slightly concave, smooth, thin-walled, usually with several oil-drops, 6-8 × 4-5 μm, IKI-, CB-.
