 Description: Basidiocarp annual, sessile, applanate to ungulate, effuse-reflexed, often imbricate, tightly attached by a broad lateral base, corky to woody. Pileus ≦ 11cm wide and 1-2 cm thick at base, semicircular, dimidiate, flabelliform; upper surface flabrous, concentrically zoned, sulcate, at first with a pinkish brown cuticle over the younger marginal areas, soon becom-ing grayish to brown or blackish; margin acute to obtuse, sometimes deflexed, regular to undulate. Pores round to irregular, 4-6 mm, light cinnamon to pinkish brown. Hyphal system dimitic, generative hyphae 2-5 µm wide, simple-septate, thin- to thick-walled, dark brown in KOH; skeletal hyphae dominant, thick-walled to solid, brown, ≦ 5.5 µm wide. Basidiospores oblong ellipsoid, frequently flattened on one side, pale yellow to yellow, thick-walled, smooth, 2.6-3.2 × 4.0-5.5 µm, IKI-.
