 Description: Pileus 3-8 cm, convex to flat, white, umblicate at center, white, covered by reddish brown scales, margin entire. Flesh thick, white, turning red when bruised. Gills free, crowded of several lengths, creamy white, entire. Stipe central, 5.5-11 × 0.4-1 cm, cylindrical, hollow, grayish red, base enlarged with brown scales. Annulus membranous, grayish red. Spore print yellow, spores broadly elliptical, with apical germ pores, thick-walled, hyaline, smooth, I+, 9-11 × 5.5-8 μm. Cystidia ventricose. Hyphae without clamps.
