 Description: Growth in glucose-yeast extract-peptone broth: After 3 days at 25°C, the cells are ellipsoidal to cylindrical, (2.4 –6.4) × (3.2-7.2) µm, single, in pairs, multilateral budding. Growth on glucose-yeast extract-peptone agar: Aerobic growth is cream, butyrous, smooth, light and convex with enrose margin. Dalmau plate culture on corn meal agar: After 7 days at 25°C, pseudohyphae consist of many branched chains of cylindrical cells are formed. Formation of ascospores: Ascospores are not formed.

 Habitat: Faece, fallen Musanga sinithii, throat, skin of hand, seawater, grape, fruit, soil, beer, washed beer bottles and brine bath in cheese factory.
