Description: | Ascomata 140-150 μm high, 125-185 μm in diameter, solitary or gregarious, obpyriform, immersed, ostiolate, papillate, coriaceous, brown to dark brown, lighter colored at the base. Necks 100-150 μm long, 40-50 μm in diameter, conical or subcylindrical, centric, periphysate, hyaline. Pseudoparaphyses present. Asci 86-106 × 10-15 μm, eight-spored, clavate or fusiform, pedunculate, with an annulus apical apparatuse, thin-walled, bitunicate, persistent. Ascospores 21-26 × 7-9 μm, biseriate, clavate, three-septate, slightly constricted at the septa, hyaline, nonappendaged. | |||
