 Description: Ascomata 243-340 μm high, 213-300 μm in diameter, solitary or gregarious, globose, subglobose or ovoid, superficial or immersed, ostiolate, papillate, membranous or coriaceous, cream-colored to brown. Necks 28-137 μm long, 35-47 μm in diameter, conical, centric, periphysate. Catenophyses present. Asci 64-110 × 20-30 μm, eight-spored, clavate, without an apical apparatuse, thin-walled, unitunicate, deliquescing early. Ascospores 24-33 × 11-15 μm ellipsoidal, one-septate, thick-walled, not or slightly constricted at the septum, hyaline. Appendages at each end, five to six, radiating, 12-24 μm long, 3-6 μm in diameter at the base, terminal, subclavate, curved, attenuate, semi-rigid and striated.
