 Description: Ascomata solitary, globose to subglobose, immersed, ostiolate, papillate, membranous, cream-colored. Necks cylindrical, periphysate, becoming light brown at base and subhyaline at the apex, periphysate. Catenophyses present. Asci 205-331 × 49-59 μm, eight-spored, biseriate, clavate to ellipsoid, long pedunculate, with an apical pore, thin-walled, unitunicate. Ascospores 34-50 × 22-29 μm, oblong to subglobose, one-septate, hyaline, slightly constricted and with oil granular deposits around the septum.
