Description: CYA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 28-30 mm, center raised, floccose, dense, margin low, narrow, entire; mycelium white; gymnothecia abundant, mostly superficial, less often embedded by the mycelium; conidiogenesis abundant; greenish grey to greyish green (26C2-3); exudate and soluble pigment absent; reverse light orange, orange (5A5-7) or light yellow (4A4). MEA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 27-29 mm, plane, floccose, margin entire; mycelium orange white, pale orange or light orange (5A2-4); gymnothecia abundant, confluent or discrete, mostly superfacial, less often embedded in the mycelium; conidiogenesis moderate, orange white (5A2); exudate and soluble pigment absent; reverse light orange, orange (5A5-7) or light yellow (4A4-5). G25N, 25°C, 7 days: with limited growth, colonies diameters 4-5 mm. CYA, 5°C, 7 days: no growth. CYA, 37°C, 7 days: colony diameters 23-30 mm, umbonate, floccose, margin low, broad, effuse, entire; mycelium light orange (5A4-5); conidiogenesis absent; reverse light orange, orange, (5A5-7) or light yellow (4A4). Gymnothecia on MEA, abundant, mostly superficial, less often embedded in the mycelium, confluent or discrete, globose to subglobose, maturing after 2 weeks, with peridium com-posed of tightly interwoven hyphae, 430-1320 × 400-1110 μm, white to yellowish white or pale yellow (1A2-3); asci borne in chains, globose to ellipsoidal, 7.6-10.0 × 5.5-7.5 μm, uncolored; ascospores ellipsoidal, spinose, 3.2-3.8 × 2.1-2.5 μm, uncolored. Conidiophores and conidia: conidiophores on MEA borne from aerial mycelium; stipes septate, 21.4-49.0 × 2.0-2.8 μm, smooth to finely roughened, thin walled, uncolored; penicilli monoverticillate or biverticillate; metulae in verticils of 2-4, smooth, 8.0-17.0 × 2.0-2.8 μm; phialides in verticils of 3-6, sometimes borne directly from hyphae; acerose, smooth, 8.7-14.3 × 1.6-2.4 μm, collula gradually tapering, long; conidia variable, mostly ellipsoidal, rarely pyriform or subglobose, smooth, 3.2-3.9 × 1.8-2.0 μm, borne in irregular columns.
