MEA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 32-37 mm, entire, floccose, sometimes with sectors, margin entire; mycelium white; cleistothecia formed superficial or partly concealed by my-celium; conidiogenesis light to moderate, greenish white to pale green (25A2-3); exudate and soluble pigment absent; reverse yellowish white to pale yellow (3A2-3), or light yellow to greenish yellow (4A-B3-4). G25N, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 6-10 mm, floccose, margin low, entire; mycelium white; conidiogenesis sparse; exudate and soluble pigment absent; reverse yellowish white to light yellow (4A2-4). CYA, 5°C, 7 days: no growth. CYA, 37°C, 7 days: colony diameters 30-35 mm, center somewhat raised, sulcate, floccose, margin entire, narrow; mycelium white, yellow white to pale yellow (1A2-3); cleistothecia concealed by mycelium; conidiogenesis moderate, greyish green (30B2-3); exudate and soluble pigment absent; reverse greyish orange (5B3-5) or yellowish grey to greyish yellow (4B2-3). Cleistothecia initials white, cleistothecia reddish orange to orange red (7-8A6-8) when ma-turing in 3-4 weeks, 180-256 × 96-224 μm; asci globose, subglobose, borne singly, 7.4-9.1 × 7.0-8.7 μm, evanescent; ascospores, ellipsoidal, 2.6-3.5 × 2.0-2.5 μm, spinulose, with an indistinct, longitudinal furrow.
