Description: | Leaf spots none. Stromata hypophyllous, superficial, 4-25 pseudoperithecia aggregated, black, stick on leaf surface with a mass of mycelium, up to 230-700 μm. Locules globose to ovoid, 5-7, each with a few asci, 63-165 × 60-120 μm. Asci bitunicate, clavate or obclavate, with a short stalk, without pseudoparaphyses, 40-70 × 12-20 μm. Ascospores cylindrical-obovoid, 2-celled, slight constriction at the middle septum, pale olivaceous, 17-20 × 4-5 μm. | |||
