 Description: CYA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 31-34 mm, plane, sulcate, deep, floccose, margin narrow, effuse, coremia formed on prolonged cultures; mycelium pastel yellow to light yel-low (3A4-6) or orange grey to greyish orange (6B2-4); margin white; conidiogenesis sparse, yellowish white (3-4A2); exudate pastel yellow; soluble pigment very faint orange white (5A2); reverse light orange to orange (6A4-7), greyish orange to orange (6B6-7) or pale or-ange to orange (5A3-6). MEA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 19-26 mm, plane, very thin, floccose, loose, margin irregular, narrow; mycelium orange white to pale orange (5A2-3), overlaid with coremium on prolonged culture; conidiogenesis light, greenish white to pale green (30A2-3); exudate and soluble pigment absent; reverse light to greyish yellow (4A-B4-5) or yellowish white to pale yellow (4A2-3). G25N, 25°C, 7 days: no growth. CYA, 5°C, 7 days: no growth. CYA, 37°C, 7 days: no growth. Conidiophores and conidia: conidiophores on MEA borne mostly from aerial mycelium or ascending from coremia; stipes septate, 90-284 × 3.6-4.8 μm, smooth, thin-walled; penicilli mostly biverticillate or irregularly terverticillate; rami smooth, in group of 1-2, 8.7-24.6 × 3.2-4.4 μm;metulae in verticils of 2-4, smooth, 8.7-14.3 × 2.2-4.4 μm; phialides in verticils of 3-6, ampulli-form to cylindroidal, smooth, 9.5-11.9 × 2.8-3.2 μm, collula short; conidia globose or subglobose to broadly ellipsoidal, 2.8-4.0 × 2.4-3.6 μm, smooth, thin walled, borne in irregular columns.
