Description: | Leaf spots circular to suborbicular, 1-5 mm. in diameter or large part of leaf, tan to pale brown, slightly darker margin, frequently causing a pronounced shot-hole effect; fruiting mostly hypophyllous; stromata lacking or small, brown; fascicles 2-15 stalks; conidiophores pale to medium brown, paler and more narrow toward the tip, 0-3 septate, 0-4 geniculate, not branched excepting rarely a bifurcate tip, medium sized spore scars, 3-4.5 × 20-100 μm, conidia hyaline, acicular, straight to curved, indistinctly multiseptate, base truncate, tip acute, 2-3.5 × 30-100 μm. | |||
