Description: Basidiocarp effuse, adnate, subceraceous or ceraceous, 120-300 μm thick in section. Hymenial surface brownish clay or purplish clay in color, no color changes in KOH, smooth, sometimes cracked, margin usually gutting pale and thinning outwards, filamentose or arachnoid. Hyphal system dimitic (?); generative hyphae simple-septate. Subiculum usually bi-layered, of basal layer and medullary layer. Basal layer up to ca. 40μm thick, compact in texture; hyphae hyaline or subhyaline, horizontal in orientation, fairly straight, slightly agglutinated. Medullary layer with fairly loose texture; hyphae oriented variously, sparsely ramified, hyaline or subhyaline, distinct, fairly straight, 2.5-5 μm diam., with walls 0.4-1 μm in thickness. Subhymenium ± thickening, differentiated from subiculum, with fairly compact texture; hyphae vertical, hyaline or subhyaline, narrower than those of subiculum, with thin or slightly thick walls. Skeletocystidia numerous, immersed or projecting, of subiculum origin, brownish, subulate or tubular with subulate apices, heavily encrusted apically, 60-160 × 7-12 μm (encrustation excluded), with 1-4 μm thick walls. Basidia narrowly clavate, 30-40 × 5.5-7 μm, walls slightly thickening basally, 4-sterigmate. Basidiospores narrowly ellipsoid, slightly concave adaxially, smooth, thin-walled, (6.3-) 6.8-8 (-8.5) × 2.8-3.5 (-3.8) μm, IKI–, CB–.
