 Description: Leaf spots angular to irregular, vein-limited, 2-10 mm wide, yellowish on upper surface, ferruginous or reddish on lower surface, without definite margin. Fruiting chiefly hypophyllous. Secondary mycelium external: hyphae emerging from the stomata, olivaceous to pale reddish brown, 2-4 μm wide, septate, branched, bearing secondary conidiophores laterally and terminally. Stromata absent. Conidiophores loosely fasciculate at stomatal openings or borne on external mycelial hyphae, reddish brown, not branched, not geniculate, 0-1 septate, rounded or conic at the apex, 5-30 × 3-4 μm; conidial scars inconspicuous. Conidia obclavate, curved to undulate, hyaline, indistinctly 4-12 septate, acute to subacute at the apex, obconic to obconically rounded at the base, 40-110 × 2.5-3.5 μm; hilum inconspicuous.
