 Description: Infected homopteran aphid covered with dense, white, pulverulent to pruinose weft of mycelium. Hyphae branched, septate, smooth-walled, hyaline, sometimes fasciculate, 1.6-3.0 μm wide. Conidiophores phialidic, erect, septate, 2.2-3.6 μm wide, bearing phialides singly, or in whorls of 2-3. Phialides subulate, awl-shaped, orthtropic or plagiotropic, rarely one-septate, (12.7-)16.7-27.8(-37.3) × 1.8-3.2(-3.6) μm. Conidia produced singly in false heads, oval or cylindrical, occasionally slightly curved, both ends rounded, rarely one-septate, 5.2-10.3 × (1.6-)2.4-3.2 μm. Chlamydospores absent. Teleomorph unknown.
