 Description: Leaf spots suborbicular to irregular, 1.5-5 mm in diameter or coalesced up to 15 mm wide, dingy grey at center, with a wide reddish brown border. Fruiting amphigenous but chiefly epiphyllous. Secondary mycelium external: hyphae emerging from the stomata, pale olivaceous, septate, 1.5-2.5 μm wide, bearing secondary conidiophores as side branches. Stromata none or up to 30 μm wide, dark brown. Conidiophores arise singly from external secondary mycelial hyphae or 3-15 in a fascicle, pale olivaceous brown, paler towards the apex, cylindric or attenuated, slightly curved to undulate, not branched, 0-2 septate, 0-2 geniculate, subtruncate or conically truncate at the apex, 10-50 × 2.5-4.5 μm; conidial scars inconspicuous. Conidia obclavate to aciculo- obclavate, straight to mildly curved, pale olivaceous, indistinctly 2-15 septate, subacute at the apex, subtruncate or obconically truncate at the base, 30-130 × 2.5-4 μm; hilum inconspicuous.
