Description: | Leaf spots orbicular, 2-10 mm wide, grayish brown at center with a reddish brown margin. Fruiting hypophyllous. Secondary mycelium external: hyphae pale olivaceous, septate, 1-2 μm wide. Stromata absent. Conidiophores pale olivaceous to pale olivaceous brown, nonfasciculate, borne terminally and laterally on external hyphae, (according to Sawada: sometimes 4-5 in a fascicle, 0-1 branched, 1-4 septate, not geniculate, 24-44 × 2.5-3 μm);conidial scars inconspicuous. Conidia cylindro-obclavate or fusiform, straight, pale olivaceous, 1-3 septate, subobtuse or narrowly rounded at the apex, subtruncate or obconically truncate at the base, 10-20 × 2-3 μm; hilum inconspicuous. | |||
