 Description: Leaf spots amphigenous, yellowish to pale brown, suborbicular to elliptical, 2-10 mm wide, often confluent, without definite margin. Fruiting amphigenous, more abundant on lower surface, dark, scantily effuse, unevenly distributed on the spot. Stromata absent. Conidiophores borne singly as lateral branches from external mycelial hyphae or sometimes arising from contiguous cells of closely septate hyphae and subfasciculate in group of about 4, pale to medium brown, paler towards the apex, erect, irregular in width, not branched, 0-3 septate, straight or mildly geniculate, rounded at the apex, 30-75 × 6-8 μm; conidial scars conspicuously thickened, 1-2 mm wide. Conidia hyaline, cylindric to obclavato-cylindric, nearly all straight, indistinctly 1-7 septate, obtuse at the apex, obconically truncate or rounded at the base, 30-65 × 4-6 μm; hilum conspicuously thickened.
