Description: | Leaf spots orbicular to irregular, sometimes vein-limited, 2-6 mm wide, later coalescing to form larger blotches, pale brown to fairly dark in colour, often with darker margin. Fruiting amphigenous, but more abundant on the lower surface. Stromata lacking or a few brown cells. Conidiophores 2-30 in a fascicle, pale to medium dark olivaceous brown, variable in length, rarely branched, geniculate, multiseptate, 20-300 × 4-6.5 μm; conidial scars conspicuously thickened. Conidia hyaline, acicular, straight to strongly curved, rather closely septate, acute or subacute at the apex, truncate at the base with a thickened hilum, 25-300 × 3-6 μm. | |||
