Description: | Growth onYM agar: After 7 days at 25℃, streak culture is red to orange, smooth, glistening and raised. The edge is entire. After two weeks at 25℃, the border with tufts of mycelium, thick-walled teliospores form on the hyphae in the apparent absence of mating. The teliospore are spheroidal to subglobose, (7.5-10.0 ×7.5-12.5 μm). Growth in YM broth: After 3 days at 25℃, cell are ellipsoidal. Cell size are (3.5-7.5 ×5.0-9.5 μm), single and in pair. Reproduction by multilateral budding. Dalmau plate culture on corn meal agar: After 7 days at 25℃, true or pseudomycelium present. | |||
