 Description: Colonies with a daily growth rate of 4.4-5.6 mm, becoming brownish due to erect, verrucose mycelial hairs; perithecia ostiolate, superficial, grey in reflected light, ovate or ampulliform,( 146.0-) 159.31-178.58 (-204.4) × (219.0-) 227.03-248.52 (262.8) μm; asci fasciculate, clavate, stalked, 8spored; ascospores limoniform, at both ends apiculate or umbonate, bilaterally flattened, brown when mature, (4.52-) 5.70-5.82 (-6.03) × (6.03-) 7.15-7.29 (-7.54) μm.
