 Description: Host attached to substratum, integument covered with weft of mycelium, light brown (7D4-6). Synnemata solitary or numerous (ca. 3), arising from integument of head, cephalothorax and abdomen, simple, with distinct terminal fertile head, white, tomentose, minutely pruinose, 140-230 μm in diam., and sterile compact cylindrical stipe, flexuous, dark brown (7A4-6) to black, 2.6-5.4 mm tall, 120-200 μm wide, consisting of longitudinal, parallel septate hyphae, 3.2-5.5 μm wide. Conidiophores concentrated in head, mono-, bi- or terverticillate. Conidiogenous cells phialidic, forming a hymenial layer, cylindrical or subulate, tapering into a short neck, (7.1-)9.1-15.9 × 2.4-3.2 μm, hyaline, smooth-walled. Conidia produced singly, broadly obovoid to short obclavate, hyaline, smooth-walled, one-celled, ends apiculate, 4.8-7.9 × 2.4-5.0 μm.
