 Description: Leaf spots orbicular to elliptical, 10-15 mm long, grayish brown at center, with a dark brown margin. Fruiting chiefly hypophyllous. Secondary mycelium external: hyphae emerging from the stomata, 2-3 μm wide, pale olivaceous, bearing secondary conidiophores as side branches. Stromata none or slight. Conidiophores arise from external hyphae or 2-10 in a fascicle, brown, straight to mildly curved, 0-1 geniculate, 0-3 septate, conically truncate at the apex, 20-55 × 4-5 μm, conidial scars inconspicuous. Conidia acicular to filiform, straight to mildly curved, subhyaline to very pale olivaceous, 3-13 septate, sometimes con-stricted at the septa, acute to subacute at the apex, subtruncate or short obconically truncate at the base, 30-120 × 3- 4.5 μm; hilum unthickened and inconspicuous.
