 Description: Leaf spots suborbicular, 1-10 mm in diameter, scattered or coalesced to form large blotches up to 15 mm wide, at first yellowish on the upper surface, grayish brown on the lower, then becoming dark brown, sometimes with a narrow brown margin. Fruiting amphigenous. Stromata amphigenous, substomatal, dark brown, irregular, up to 35 μm in width. Conidiophores 2-20 in a fascicle, emerging through the stomata, olivaceous brown, cylindrical, erect or tortous, 0-4 septate, 0- 2 geniculate, very rarely branched, broadly rounded or subtruncate at the apex, 20-50 × 3-5 μm. Conidia pale olivaceous brown, obclavate or obcalavato-cylindric, straight to mildly curved, 3-13 septate, rounded at the apex, obconically truncate at the base, 30-115 × 3-5 μm.
