 Description: CYA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 12-17 mm, center depressed, radially sulcate, subcenter raised, floccose, margin narrow, low; mycelium yellowish white-light yellow (2A3-5), pale yellow-light yellow (1C3-5), pastel yellow (3A4-8, 2A4-7), margin white; conidiogenesis sparse; exudate clear; soluble pigment lacking; reverse orange (5A7-8), greyish orange-orange (5B6-8), light yellow-reddish yellow (4A4-6) or greyish yellow (4B4-6). MEA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 21-26 mm, entire, plane, mostly velutinous, center floccose, subcenter slightly floccose, wefty, margin more or less dense; mycelium greyish yellow (1B4-6, 1D4-6), pastel yellow-light yellow (1A4-5), greyish yellow (1B4-7), white; conidiogenesis abundant, greyish green (29D4-6, E4-6); exudate and soluble pigment absent; reverse brownish orange (5C4-6), greyish orange (5B4-6, 5C4-7) or greyish yellow (3B3-5, 3C3-5). G25N, 25°C, 7 days: germination with restricted growth. CYA, 5°C, 7 days: no growth. CYA, 37°C, 7 days: colony diameter 10-13 mm, crateriform, center, subcenter deeply depressed, low, wrinkled, subcenters, conspicuously raised, sulcate, floccose, margin narrow, low, effuse; mycelium yellowish white-pale yellow (4A1-2), yellowish grey-greyish yellow (4B23), white; conidiogenesis abundant, greyish green (26D4-6, E4-6); exudate and soluble pigment absent; reverse light brown (5D4-7), brownish orange to brownish yellow (5C4-7) or yellowish brown (5E4-7). Conidiophores and conidia: conidiophores on MEA borne from superficial or aerial mycelium; stipes septate, apices nonvesiculate, 32-122 × 1.6-2.4 μm, walls smooth to finely roughened, thin, monoverticillate, rarely biverticillate; metulae in verticils of 2-3, 8.7-17.4 × 2.4 μm; phialides smooth to finely roughened, mostly 7-16, acerose, 10.7-14.3 × 2.2-2.4 μm, with tapering collula; conidia ellipsoidal, smooth to finely roughened, 2.0-3.4 × 1.6-2.4 μm, borne in tangled, disordered chains.
