 Description: CYA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 20-23 mm, center more or less raised, dense, sulcate, velutinous, entire; mycelium white; conidiogenesis heavy, white to greyish green (25C3-4, 25B3-4); exudate yellowish white; soluble pigment absent; reverse brownish orange (5C3-4). MEA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 24-26 mm, plane, velutinous, margin thin, effuse; mycelium white; conidiogenesis abundant, dull green-greyish green (26D3-4, 27D3-5, 27E3-5); exudate and soluble pigment absent; reverse greyish green (1C3-4, 1D3-4) to greyish yellow (4B3-4) or light blond to blond (4C3-4). G25N, 25°C, 7 days: no growth. CYA, 5°C, 7 days: no growth. CYA, 37°C, 7 days: no growth. Conidiophores and conidia: conidiophores on MEA borne from superficial and aerial mycelium; stipes septate, 24-262 × 2.0-2.8 μm, smooth, thin walled; penicilli mostly biverticillate, often monoverticillate, occasionally terverticillate; metulae in verticils of 2-4, smooth, 11.2-25.6 × 2.4-3.2 μm; phialides in verticils of 9-14 ampulliform to slightly acerose, smooth, 8.8-11.0 × 2.4-3.2 μm, collula gradually tapering; conidia ellipsoidal to subspheroidal, 2.4-3.6 × 2.0-3.2 μm, smooth to very finely roughened, more or less thick walled, borne in defined columns.
