 Description: Colony diameters on Czapek’s Agar 0.8-1.2 cm in 12 days at 25°C, dense, raised; conidial heads radiate, white; mycelium white; reverse uncolored to cream color, or dull olive-citrine (R., Plate XVI). Colony diameters on Malt Extract Agar 1.5-1.8 cm in 12 days at 25°C, dense, plane; conidial heads radiate to loosely columnar, tilleul-buff to pale vinaceous-fawn (R., Plate, XL); myce-lium white to tilleul-buff; reverse pale yellow-orange to dull Mikado orange (R., Plate, XXIX); stipes 28-400 × 2.4-7.8 μm, smooth, uncolored to pale brown; vesicles clavate, subglobose to hemispherical, 4.6-17.6 μm wide. Aspergilla biseriate, metulae covering 1/2 to 3/4 of the vesicle, 4.0-8.0 × 2.4-4.8 μm; phialides 4.4-8.3 × 2.0-2.5 μm. Conidia globose, 2.1-3.5 μm, smooth-walled.
