 Description: Basidiocarp annual, pileate, flabelliform to dimidiate, sometimes with a short distinct stem-like base on the substrate, up to 3 × 4 × 0.3 cm, like base on the substrate, up to 3 × 4 × 0.3 cm, soft-gelatinous when fresh, resinous to woody and hard when dry. Pileus first finely tomentose, but soon glabrous in concentric zones, beige, brown to deep bay. Pore surface cream to pale tan, pore very small, 7-11 per mm, tubes concolorous with pore surface. Context pale brown to umber. Hyphal system dimitic; generative hyphae hyaline, thin-walled with clamps, up to 3.5 μm wide, skeletal hyphae dominating in the basidiocarp, moderately to very thick-walled. Basidiospores broadly ellipsoid to subglobose, 2-3 × 2-2.5 μm, hyaline, IKI-.
