Description: Basidiocarp effuse, ± adnate, ceraceous, 50-180 µm thick in section. Hymenial surface Ivory Yellow or Light Buff when young. Olive Buff to Wood Brown when old, smooth or slightly tuberculate, cracked in old parts; margin paler, usually thinning, arachnoid-pruinose. Hyphal system monomitic; hyphae simple-septate. Subiculum bi-layered. Basal layer compact, up to ca. 12 µm thick, sometimes indistinct; hyphae horizontal, colorless, agglutinated, rather distinct, 2.5-4.5 µm diam., thin-walled. Medullary layer constituting main part of subiculum, with rather compact texture; hyphae colorless, usually indistinct, tortuous, 1.5-4 µm diam., thin-walled, anastomoses occasional. Hymenial layer not clearly differentiated. Yellow excreted material fairly common throughout section, dissolving in KOH. Cystidioles variably abundant, in some specimens difficult to find, fusiform, 16-23 × 4.5-6 µm. Cystidia lacking. Basidia clavate, 24-37 × 6-8 µm, 4-sterigmate. Basidiospores broadly ellipsoid, smooth, thin-walled, sometimes with small oil-drops, (6.7-) 7.3-8.5 (-9) × (4.3-) 4.5-5.3 (-6) µm, IKI-, CB-.
