Description: Basidiocarp effuse, ±adnate, ceraceous, 50-200 μm thick in section. Hymenial surface Martius Yellow, Sulphur Yellow to Pinard Yellow, smooth, extensively cracked and exposing subiculum and substratum; margin concolorous, thinning, pruinose. Hyphal system monomitic; hyphae simple-septate. Subiculum bi-layered. Basal layer with compact texture, up to ca. 12 µm thick, sometimes indistinct; hyphae horizontal, colorless, somewhat agglutinated, rather distinct, 3-6.5 µm diam., slightly thick-walled. Medullary layer constituting main part of subiculum, with rather compact texture; hyphae colorless, ±agglutinated, indistinct, tortuous, 2.5-5 µm diam., thin-walled, anastomoses occasional. Yellow excreted material rather common throughout section, dissolving in KOH. Hymenial layer not clearly differentiated, with more vertical and narrower hyphae than those of medullary layer. Cystidia lacking. Basidia narrowly clavate, 19-23.5 × 3.7-4.2 µm, 4-sterigmate. Basidiospores narrowly ellipsoid, adaxially flattened or slightly concave, sometimes tapering towards apiculus, with a minute apiculus, smooth, thin-walled, usually with several small oil-drops, (4-) 4.2-5.2 (-5.5) × 2-2.5 µm, IKI-, CB-.
