Description: Basidiocarp effuse, separable, membranaceous, 200-500 μm thick in section. Hymemial surface Ivory Yellow when flesh, Light Buff when dried, smooth , cracked; margin paler, thinning, fibrillose. Hyphal system monomitic; most hyphae simpleseptate, a few septa with single or double clamp connections. Subiculum uniform, with ± dense texture; hyphae ± horizontal, somewhat vertical near subhymenium, moderately ramified, colorless, distinct, ± straight, 2.8-5.5(-6) μm diam., with 0.5-1.2 μm thick walls. Hymenial layer with com-pact texture, ± thickening; hyphae vertical, colorless, ± agglutinated, narrower than those of subiculum, thin-walled. Cystidia numerous, projecting or immersed, usually of two or three layers in hymenial layer and hymenium, apical halves encrusted, subulate, having the broadest part in the middle, 40-60 × 5.5-7 μm (encrustation excluded), with thin to ca. 2.5 μm thick walls. Basidia narrowly clavate, 30-45 × 4.8-5.8 μm , 4-sterigmate. Basidiospores narrowly ellipsoid or ellipsoid, adaxially flattened or slightly concave, smooth, thin-walled, usually with one to several yellowish oil-drops, (4.8-)5.2-6.2(-6.5) × 2.2-2.7 μm, IKI-,CB-.

Note: This species has been reported from Taiwan by Chen (1975). From the description and the figure made of that collection, showing cystidia with obtuse apices and much longer basidiospores, it is evident that Chen was not in possession of this species.
