Description: Basidiocarp effuse, separable, membranaceous when young, crustaceous when old, 200-500 μm thick in section. Hymenial surface Ivory Yellow, Cream Color, or Light Buff, smooth or slightly tuberculate, cracked when old; margin paler, thinning, arachnoid. Hyphal system monomitic; hyphae nodose-septate. Subiculum indistinctly bi-layered. Basal layer with compact texture, variably thick, up to ca. 100 μm; hyphae horizontal, colorless, straight, ± agglutinated, 4-6 μm diam., with 0.5-1.2 μm thick walls. Medullary layer with rather loose texture; hyphae ± horizontal near substratum, ± vertical next to subhymenium, loosely interwoven, colorless, distinct, fairly straight, 3.5-5.5 μm diam., with 0.5-1.2 μm thick walls, adventitious septa occasionally occur, hyphal strands sometimes present and penetrating through medullary layer. Hymenial layer with compact texture, ± thickening; hyphae fairly vertical, colorless, agglutinated, indistinct, narrower and with thinner walls than those of medullary layer. Cystidia variably abundant, cylindrical with narrower apices, ± moniliform towards apices, irregularly flexuous, 35-80 × 6-12 μm, thin- or slightly thick-walled. Basidia subutriform or subclavate, 25-30 × 6-7 μm, with four rather stout sterigmata. Basidiospores narrowly ellipsoid, adaxially flattened, sometimes tapering towards the apiculus, smooth, thin-walled, with very small oil-drops or rather homogeneous contents, 7-9 × 3.2-4 μm, IKI-, CB-.
