Description: | Pileus 2-3 cm, campanulate to flat, brightly red, powdery at center, margin striate. Gills free, crowded of several lengths, pale yellow, denticulate. Stipe central, 4-7 × 0.3-0.5 cm, hollow, white to pale yellow, powdery. Annulus membranous, descending, creamy, fragile. Volva bulb-like, white covered by red scales. Spores globose, hyaline, smooth, I-, 7-10 μm. Cystidia clavate, hyphae without clamps. | |||
