Description: Infected host attached to the underside of leaves, conidiophores arising from cuticle of the host at intersegmental membrane regions, proliferating forming white mycelial bands. Rhizoids not observed. Hyphal bodies irregular or hyphal-like. Conidiophores unbranched, or occasionally branched, terminal more or less distinctly enlarged, (9.5-) 12.7-17.5 (-21.4) μm wide. Primary conidia (26.0-) 34.0-49.2 (-54.0) × (24.0-) 31.7-46.8 μm, L/D=1.00-1.21, spherical, with distinct papilla, papilla medium-sized, conical, ending rounded or pointed, containing numerous vacuoles, nuclei weakly staining in LPAO. Secondary conidia like primary conidia, produced on short conidiophores. Resting spores not observed. Cultures obtained by conidia projected on SDAY. Growing slowly and ceasing after subculture.
