Description: | Apothecia white, margin not differentiated, 150-350 μm wide. Excipulum of textura globulosa, cells 4-8 μm diam., layer 60-65 μm thick. Asci broadly clavate, 52-80 × 13-16 μm, walls turning blue in Melzer’s reagent. Spore clusters arranged in two rows, 22-24 × 10-11 μm, with a unilateral gelatinous sheath. Ascospores ellipsoid, with rounded ends, smooth, dark purplish brown, 10-11 × 5-6 μm. Paraphyses slightly curved, 2-5 μm wide. | |||
