 Description: Ascomata 127-164 μm high, 89-122 μm in diameter, solitary, ellipsoidal, superficial, ostiolate, papillate, coriaceous, thin-walled, light brown. Necks 53.5-109 × 28-31 μm, cylindrical, eccentric, ostiolar canal without periphyses. Peridium 4-8 μm thick, composed of 2-3 layers of flat, thin-walled light brown cells, mature ascospores visible through the wall. Paraphyses absent. Asci eight-spored, ellipsoidal, unitunicate, thin-walled, without apical apparatuse, deliquescing before ascospore maturity. Ascospores 54-104 × 8-10.5 μm, elongate-fusiform, rounded at the upper end, tapering toward the base, straight or slightly curved, one-septate below the center, not or slightly constricted at the septum, without appendages, hyaline.
